Enyo wandered the forest with a small smile on his face, since the storm he had erected a cottages which was small on the outside but big inside so that it didn’t damage the surroundings. It was made of magic technically so no humans would stumble upon his home. He still didn’t have a name nor face for the forest deity, he was just very thankful for permission to stay. @crushed-starrdust

Elvin was very happy having Enyo here. It was just nice, and the animals of the forest were peaceful around him as well. They didn’t mind the little cottage, as well as visiting there. As long as Enyo was peaceful and kind, nothing and no one living in this forest would bother Enyo.

Elvin liked watching Enyo sometimes, rarely talking to him again -staying hidden most of the time, though not so that Enyo couldn’t see him if he would try.

The deity was currently on a small clearing, tending to some flowers. Humming some melodies he remembered as he helped them grow, and made sure no weeds would kill the little flowers.

“It’s okay.”, Elvin replied and smiled, carefully tending to the rest of the flowers. He knew not everyone thought like him, and that was okay. He knew not everyone was a pacifist, especially humans. But that didn’t mean he didn’t try to always do what he believed to be right.

Enyo’s brow furrowed and his head tilted as he watched. “Why would you replant a weed? They harm the flowers.” He questioned curiously. Everyone had reasons as to why they did certain things so he wouldn’t judge. It just didn’t make sense to him.

“They’re plants like the flowers are.”, Elvin replied softly. “If they’re not growing among flowers, they don’t do any harm. You know how nettles are seen as weeds? Certain caterpillars need them to grow into butterflies. No plant is inherently a weed.”.

Elvin treated everything with respect. No matter if something was seen as bad or weeds, he was going to help them grow anyways. “A lot of insects are seen as useless too, even if they aren’t. Nothing exists without purpose.”.

Enyo nodded simply, falling quiet and instead listening to the nature surrounding them. He wouldn’t act without the deity’s permission, it was the thing he had stayed from the beginning. He wouldn’t stand and watch Elvin suffer harm because of his pacifism though.

Elvin turned back to the flowers he had been tending to, continuing to do so. Hands moving gently through the flowers and grass, gently plucking out and digging out small weeds that would harm the little flowers, to instead let them grow somewhere else. For him, weeds didn’t exactly exist. Every plant had a reason to exist and grow, just sometimes their placement wasn’t ideal.

He easily replanted the weeds he dug out a little further away from the flowers, his magic easily letting them take root and grow.

Markus knew he shouldn’t have been so mean to Ray like that, but… still. He was just overwhelmed with the fact that his soulmate, with colour changing eyes, was a demon.

“I’m sorry..”, he mumbled quietly, hand limp in Ray’s. He fully expected to be yelled at, or be hit. It had been what his past boyfriends would’ve done.
“I’m not really interesting… I’m a kindergarten teacher, or, I guess I can’t be anymore being blind… I can cook and bake pretty okay?”.

Ray looked at Markus and felt bad that he was being salty with him. “It’s okay dear…I should expect it , since I guess I may as well be a myth like all the things people had written about in the past..”he said with a small reassuring smile. “I can help you with the kindergarten Markus…I know you said that well being soulmates doesn’t mean anything to you I want to help you..”he said softly as he gave him a small squeeze.

“It doesn’t mean nothing to me!”, Markus said, afraid Ray would want to leave him if he thought so.  “It’s just…. ah.. nothing. I’m sorry I was so mean to you.”.

“How would you help with that? It’s not your job. It’s not what you learned for four years..”. He didn’t want to stop with his job, but he didn’t know how he could look after small children being blind.

Enyo simply nodded and dropped the matter. He would argue with his host even if he opted for the more dangerous routes. He was terrified any harm would come to Evins forest and the sweet little animals inside it. He was scared he was going to wake to screams and roaring flames as everything turns to dust. Maybe he just needed to learn life didn’t have to end in red hot flames and scarred skin. Maybe…. but until then it would be his biggest fear and he couldn’t handle his fear becoming reality. He knew he said he would fight until his last breath bit at the same time he knew he would freeze- he knew he would panic and just watch until it leaped from the trees to his skin and he suffered the demise of half of his kind.

“As I said nothing will be done without explicit permission to do so. It is your forest after all, Elvin.

Elvin nodded lightly. “I would prefer if you didn’t do anything drastic just yet. I will not stop you from going against people that which harm upon the forest or other beings, and help get them out without really injuring them.”.

He didn’t mind if Enyo wanted to help get anyone bad out of the forest, or stop them from entering in the first place. He didn’t want anyone or anything hurt after all. But he didn’t want anyone to get seriously hurt or injured.

Checking in

“Don’t mind hair!”, the little spirit chirped, smiling. They were very happy to be with Q here, it was really nice. And they liked feeling his wings, the feathers were so soft!

“Really soft. Qiunton soft!”, they giggled happily. They were very happy to have Q here with them!

Gone

Markus smiled brightly when Oliver took his hand, happily holding it and beginning to walk with him again. He was very happy to be with him, and to be able to travel with him. He didn’t think he would have managed on his own. He wouldn’t have taken the chance to travel on his own anyways.

“How far will we go today?”, he asked then, curious.

Gone

Markus face lit up, smiling bright and happy. “Thank you so much, Oliver!”, he was obviously very happy about it. He did indeed love it! He loved flowers, and now he had a crown made out of flowers!
“It’s far better than any other crown I had to wear.”, he told him with a smile.

He happily picked a few flowers, carefully tying them together. He wasn’t sure about flower crowns, but he could twist and tie some flowers together for a ring!
“Here.”, he offered the little flower ring to Oliver with a smile.

He knew that he could have made something much better with more time, but Markus was so excited about the small gift that it made him put the thought out of his mind. Even if Markus did deserve better, he liked what he’d been given.

“It’s nothing special, but you’re welcome.”, he responded. He watched Markus curiously until his friend handed him the ring. His face felt a little warmer. Oliver took it and slipped it onto his finger. “Oh… thank you. You didn’t have to…!”

“I know! But I wanted to make you happy too.”, Markus replied with a smile, giggling softly. He was very happy Oliver seemed to like his gift as well, which was really nice! And it made him really happy Oliver liked his little gift as well.

“Let’s continue on.”, he hummed, holding out his hand for Oliver to take again. He was happy, and he couldn’t think about anything better than this right now. Just being outside with Oliver, being happy together.
