“You can lend me your vision?”, Markus looked up at Ray questioningly. Having a demon as soulmate seemed very very strange, and nothing like having a human as soulmate. He wondered what it meant, to have borrowed vision.

Ray nooded. „Yes I can lend my vision to you. For the time you work at the kindergarten you can see with my eyes or vision..but I do want to at least have it back in the evening since I have to work..“he said softly wanting to make sure that Markus understood

@emptynarration

“I… I don’t understand..?”, Markus was confused. How could Ray lend him his vision? He wondered, curious, wanting to know how that would work like. He just wanted to know how it worked like, since he didn’t work later than the afternoon usually anyways. And he really didn’t want to quit his job..

Enyo wandered the forest with a small smile on his face, since the storm he had erected a cottages which was small on the outside but big inside so that it didn’t damage the surroundings. It was made of magic technically so no humans would stumble upon his home. He still didn’t have a name nor face for the forest deity, he was just very thankful for permission to stay. @crushed-starrdust

Elvin was very happy having Enyo here. It was just nice, and the animals of the forest were peaceful around him as well. They didn’t mind the little cottage, as well as visiting there. As long as Enyo was peaceful and kind, nothing and no one living in this forest would bother Enyo.

Elvin liked watching Enyo sometimes, rarely talking to him again -staying hidden most of the time, though not so that Enyo couldn’t see him if he would try.

The deity was currently on a small clearing, tending to some flowers. Humming some melodies he remembered as he helped them grow, and made sure no weeds would kill the little flowers.

“The forest protects the sacred land, I-I shouldn’t invade.” He stuttered and stumbled over his words as he pushed himself to his feet. “I don’t wish to exploit your hospitality.” Enyo stumbled over the words looking at him with wide eyes.

Elvin stood up, laughing softly as Enyo stuttered. “You aren’t! Come on, I’d love to show you the lake. I’m sure you’ll love it.”, he smiled at Enyo, offering him his hand to take.

“It protects me. And if I wish to show you the clearing in which my tree stands, then nothing can stop me. I trust you.”.

“The lake?” His eyes widened almost comically. “I wouldn’t want to invade your paradise.” Enyo shook his head shocked he would offer. The lake was what was hidden he quickly concluded, meaning it was sacred and the deity should not just let anyone pass through.

“It’s not my paradise. It’s just where I am most of the time!”, Elvin replied and giggled softly, standing up.
“I’d like to show you. And if something were to happen to me, you could come find me most easily there.”. Not that he thought anything would happen to him any time soon, but he still would like to show Enyo.

Elvin was far to forgiving, Enyo quickly decided but did not oppose to his words. He didn’t quite understand the other view. He understood not wanting to kill- who honestly did? But he was often so scared he would cause harm on accident, most of the time he never meant to hurt anything or anyone.

Elvin smiled when he was done tending to the flowers, now all growing among themselves, and the weeds in their own little batch, growing by themselves. He was very happy with the results.

“Why don’t I show you to the lake?”, Elvin said then, looking towards Enyo. “If I’ll allow you to it, the charm won’t work on you. I promise.”.
