Bing was wondering through the woods, not really knowing what to do or what he might see. He was bored and figured that the woods would be the best place to go. He didn’t know that something lived in the woods, or that it was watching him.
Elvin was the forest’s deity. It had been forever since the villages around his forest had grown and dispatched, and he watched safely from where he couldn’t leave the line of trees. His tale was mostly forgotten, grown to be a legend or even myth. He knew barely anyone knew of him anymore, or believed in his existence.
He still protected the forest, and helped whoever came through. He knew when someone stepped foot into the woods, and a lot of the time came to watch over them as they traveled. He didn’t exactly get lonely, but his last human friend had been…. very long ago. He was rather sure they had long since passed.
Elvin made a sound when Bing just pulled the little plants out. He supposed he could risk showing himself, he could get away safely quick enough after all.
“Uhm- excuse me-?”, he said, stepping up behind Bing. “Please don’t pull them out… they’re just plants too.”.Bing jumped when he heard another person, turning and tilting his head at him. Elvin’s horns looked just like the branches behind him which slightly confused Bing (since he was a robot).
“Sorry, I just thought that since they tend to choke out other plants, the flowers might want to be separated from them,” he says softly, looking down at the few weeds he had pulled already. He gently picked them up before putting them on a large pile of dirt, most likely caused by a foraging animal.
“I.. I’d prefer if they were dug out, and can be replanted in their own little batch.”, Elvin said softly, stepping closer and kneeling down next to Bing.
“They’re plants too after all.”, he said, smiling lightly. He didn’t like killing any sort of plant, or living thing for that matter.

Bing watched the sky as he walked, keeping his footing steady so he didn’t fall or step on anything. He didn’t really know about Elvin’s legend, if he had he would have looked around more…for now though, he just walked around, not really paying attention to where he was, the woods were just too nice.
Elvin very curiously watched Bing. Humans generally hadn’t changed that much, though they always had new curious things with them he wanted to know about. But, he couldn’t do anything. He couldn’t just show himself, with branches growing on his head like antlers.
He had to leave Bing though and following him, instead staying at a little clearing with flowers, which had troubles growing with weeds in their midst.
