Help me

Markus had settled back into a corner, nibbling on the cookies and holding both his phone and his stuffed bunny close. He wasn’t allowed to make nests, Kail didn’t like them. He also didn’t like stuffies, though this bunny was as old as Markus, so he didn’t let him take it from him.

He flinched when his phone buzzed, but he listened to the message anyways.
“I made both. I…”, he wasn’t sure what to say.
“They could be better.”, he settled on eventually. Kail had said so after all, along with a few other things.

Markus very happily began copying the recipe, humming. He was content just doing this, gathering new recipes to try out. When he was done copying the recipe, his phone chimed, reminding him of the time.

“I’m sorry Bing, I have to go make lunch. Maybe I can try out one of the recipes after!”, he texted Bing, smiling bright, before skipping off to go make lunch. It had gotten rare he smiled so much. No wonder Kail noticed, and made sure he remembered who he belonged to.

[Alright, enjoy your food and try making those recipes, we’ll see who’s comes out better]

Bing smiled as he put away the recipes, making sure to keep the ones for Markus in a separate pile so he knew what he still had to share. He started making himself some food, also making the cookies and buns, wanting to see if he could make them properly.

Markus was baking as soon as he had time. He was quiet, and not feeling as happy as he felt before. He wasn’t surprised, he couldn’t get himself to smile when Kail made sure he wouldn’t be.

He did love baking, and it made him a little happier working on something nice. He made both recipes as well, since he didn’t have anything better to do. Once he was done, he smiled lightly, trying them. He thought they were tasty, but he wasn’t surprised when Kail thought bad of it.

“I just wanna go home…”, Markus whimpered quietly. He was afraid to even answer Ray anymore. No one had ever been nice to him and stayed nice. He knew if this continued, he’d just cling to Ray. Craving someone nice, even though he knew that niceness could turn terrible really fast.

“Hey I can just walk you there and make sure no alpha wants to mess with you.”he said softly. “I won’t let anyone hurt you…if you want I can bring you back to the park if it makes you feel more comfortable..”he said softly with a reassuring smile.

Markus stayed quiet. He didn’t know what to do. He just wanted to go home. He wasn’t good at making decisions, no one had ever let him make any.
He stayed silent, fiddling with his fingers, not knowing what to do. Couldn’t he just go home?

“I- I’m- I’m fine- I- I’m- uhm-”, Markus didn’t feel comfortable around Ray. “I’m d-done- and- and I’d- I w- I would- uhm- like- I’d- wanna- uhm- I- want to- to g-go- go h-home…”. He couldn’t help stuttering, afraid. He didn’t want to be an omega. Omegas’ were toys, housewives at best. It’s what he had always been to alphas -getting harassed in alleys, used, abused in relationships. He was happiest alone, and with his brother.

Ray looked at him with worried eyes. After some moments he sighed softly but nooded. “Okay if that is what you want..please be careful on your way I don’t want you to get hurt..I know I am an alpha but I don’t want you to be in pain..so I want you to be okay..”he said softly with a reassuring smile. He gently guided to the door in case he wanted out

@emptynarration

Markus knew getting home was pretty much impossible. He had not the slightest idea where he was, and he didn’t have his cane with him -Ray had forgotten to grab it at the park.

“Th-tha-ank y-y-o-you…”, he mumbled. He just wanted out. He was sure another omega would find him and help him.
