Markus very happily began copying the recipe, humming. He was content just doing this, gathering new recipes to try out. When he was done copying the recipe, his phone chimed, reminding him of the time.
“I’m sorry Bing, I have to go make lunch. Maybe I can try out one of the recipes after!”, he texted Bing, smiling bright, before skipping off to go make lunch. It had gotten rare he smiled so much. No wonder Kail noticed, and made sure he remembered who he belonged to.
[Alright, enjoy your food and try making those recipes, we’ll see who’s comes out better]
Bing smiled as he put away the recipes, making sure to keep the ones for Markus in a separate pile so he knew what he still had to share. He started making himself some food, also making the cookies and buns, wanting to see if he could make them properly.
Markus was baking as soon as he had time. He was quiet, and not feeling as happy as he felt before. He wasn’t surprised, he couldn’t get himself to smile when Kail made sure he wouldn’t be.
He did love baking, and it made him a little happier working on something nice. He made both recipes as well, since he didn’t have anything better to do. Once he was done, he smiled lightly, trying them. He thought they were tasty, but he wasn’t surprised when Kail thought bad of it.
