“It does seem the best option.” As he spoke, Tachigami looked out over the land. Just as expected, saplings had already sprouted nearby. Little doubt they’d take time to grow without Amaterasu physically on site, but it was a start. “You’ll need to rest in the meantime. What kind of injuries did they cause you?”
“They chopped into my tree.”, Elvin replied, motioning slightly to the tree next to them. It was the oldest one in this forest, and it almost seemed to bleed.
“It’s like being stabbed really badly… I won’t die, as my tree won’t, but it hurts..”. His dark brown cloak, hiding his clothes, hid the golden stain on his shirt and vest.
