“I can try.”, Elvin replied quietly. He wasn’t sure if he could concentrate a lot, with the pain coursing through him still. But if there might be someone else who could help, he would be more than happy to try. His forest was hurting, he was hurting, and he needed any help he may be able to get.
That was good enough. Tachigami glasped his hands together, shutting his eyes. He then spoke aloud, raising his voice to the heavens.
“Mother Amaterasu, origin of all that is goo, hear our prayer. This land has been ravaged. We ask that you shine your light upon it, rejuvenate, and bring life back to these trees. Return them to their former glory!”
He opened his eyes once more, and relaxed. “Now with any luck, the process will begin soon. Though, by the scale of the damage, it may take some time.”
Elvin copied Tachigami, pleading quietly for help. He hoped someone would help him. He could take care of his forest by himself, technically. But he was hurt, and alone that needs a long time to heal. And only then he could begin to help his forest grow again. Though he was uncertain about the humans.
“But those humans will surely come back.”, he said quietly, looking up to the other.
