“Of course the Host is here.”, Host answered as he opened the door, a small motion of his head which indicated he’d roll his eyes.
“This is the library, after all, as well as connected to the Host’s room. Jasmine should be aware the Host doesn’t leave these rooms unless necessary.”.

I just had a thought. A Vampire Host being able to see a person or animal via their heartbeat. Every time it beats he can see the blood rush through their veins in a red glow. ~septic dreams
/ Ohhh yeah! I never thought about vampire Host!
/ But oh yeah, he’d be able to see and hear heartbeats!
“Huh.” He slipped the cloths through the bars. “Well, you might want to start walking more. It’ll help you to adjust more since you won’t have your wings for balance.”
Host got dressed again, curling up back on the flowers. He hadn’t flown in so long already anyways, so he wasn’t really bothered. He was used to walking around more or less, though there was no reason to walk anyways.
He took the clothes, getting a cotton swab and wiping them off. By the time he was done the swab was grey and yellow. He couldn’t help but peer at the fairy’s nude form. “Were you born blind?”
“No.”, Host replied. His sight had worsened over time, and he had to learn how to see magic. He didn’t know why or how it had happened though.
“Just take them off. I’ll clean em with a cotton swab or a stick.” He looked in on the fae. “And the head bandage too.”
Host nodded lightly, carefully getting out of his clothes. Shoes, pants, coat, vest. He pulled off the cloth around his head as well. He didn’t actually need it, and he had had it only because he had gotten hurt when he had been caught.
As human as he appeared, without clothes it was far more obvious he was different. His anatomy was different, as he had no reproductive organs of any kind, and had no needs to discharge anything his body didn’t need.
He did have golden “freckles” all over his body here and there, which sparkled slightly in the sun.
“Yeah. Unless you need some water or something you can clean them in.” He shrugged. “I could care less about you being naked and shit to be honest.”
“I technically don’t need them, other than providing warmth and comfort.”, Host mumbled. He just felt better wearing clothes, and he loved his coat.
“If you want them, what can I do.”, he muttered, sitting up. He didn’t think he needed to clean them, though of course he couldn’t see it.
“There’s nothing I can do about cutting them.” He said roughly. He walked outside, cutting two blossoms off and bringing them in. He dropped them into the cage, then narrowed his eyes slightly. “Take off the cloths.” He wasn’t going to destroy them. Just clean them off.
Host curled up tighter. Would the blossoms even close during night? He doubted it, but he could drag them into the crystal circle at the very least. Which he did, once they were dropped into the cage, settling onto them and letting the crystals help him heal.
“You mean my clothes?..”, Host didn’t want to. They didn’t get dirty, except from things the human did to him. They weren’t made like human’s clothes either, but mostly magic and plants.
“I’m getting you a new cage then. One more for a hamster, with lots of ramps.” He stood up, making a list of everything. “I’ve got some gardenias. They’re big. Do you want one to sleep in?”
Host didn’t want to have to live in a cage. He didn’t want to live without wings. As a pet. He hoped he’d at least get a lot of plants. Since he was blind, and could only see magic, it’d be best to have lots of living things -like plants. They had magic, just like humans had some, and Host could see magic.
“If you don’t cut them, I’d like that.”, he replied. For now he needed to rest between the crystals, though once the sun set and he’d actually sleep he’d be glad to be in a flower.
He hummed, setting up an order. The jewels would be expensive but he was getting paid almost 3 thousand dollars. “You have a favourite flower?”
“I like daisies. And snapdragons.”, Host replied. Not great for sleeping in -as flower fairies did- but he liked them a lot.
“After I regain consciousness, if at all, it might be best if you place me on some dirt, so I can grow my flower. If I can still do that then.”, he mumbled then. In emergencies, especially for low magic, a flower fairy would grow its birth flower and rest inside of it, which would help its magic get restored and wounds healed better.
“I’d like some flowers with large blossoms to sleep in… Lilies, tulips..”, he added quietly then as well. If they wanted to take good care of their pet, they’d knew how at least.
“Personally, I want you to live. But that’s because I want to keep you as a pet. So, what will you need after?” He sat down in a chair.
Host wasn’t very happy with that either. He’d lose most of his magic with his wings, which was the biggest problem.
“A large, charged Heliodor crystal to help keep the bit of magic I’ll have left. My back will be ripped open, so cleaning and bandaging that up probably. Lots of sunshine, I guess.”, Host didn’t know. He had no idea how he’d survive. He just knew he’d need a lot of magic being given to him, since his would literally bleed out for a few days or so, after his wings are taken.
