“Ah.. pretty much everything… I don’t think Arthur’s number saved still..”, Markus replied quietly. He wasn’t sure if his ex had deleted Arthur’s number or not -he had never had the nerve to try and call him, afraid of getting hurt. He had been very controlled.
He walked with her, slow and careful, glad she was helping him.
Agnes deletes everything, then blocks the numbers as well. “I apologise. The number you were talking about wasn’t there.” She sighs softly. “Once you get your new number, is it okay if I put my own number into your phone?” She wanted to make sure he could reach out at any time.
When they got back to the stairs, she led him up carefully.
“Yeah..”, Markus mumbled and nodded lightly. He wouldn’t mind if she did, she was nice so far after all. And it’d be better to have at least someone saved on his phone. Better than no one.
He quietly followed Agnes, holding onto her hand.
