They both had finished their food, thanking Bing again for cooking it for them. Markus stayed curled up in Arthur’s lap, feeling comfortable and safe in it.
“Bing, do you have a mate?”, Arthur asked when Bing returned. He didn’t think so, as he couldn’t see anything that suggested it, but he wanted to know anyways.
Bing blushed before shaking his head.
“No, not yet, haven’t really tried to find one yet, “he said laughing softly and a bit nervously. It normally wasn’t good when another alpha asked if you had a mate, especially with an omega in the room. Hopefully his answer didn’t change anything between the three.
“Mh.”, Arthur hummed and nodded. Markus heat was going to start soon, and he wasn’t yet sure what to do. An alpha could be unpredictable with an omega in heat around, and he didn’t want Markus to be taken advantage of. Even if Bing seemed nice now, he wanted to make sure he was going to be alright.
“I think we’ll go to bed for now. An exhausting day after all.”, Arthur said then and stood up again, holding Markus against him. The way Markus still clung to him, he knew he didn’t want to be alone.
