“Thank you.”, Markus said quietly, folding the paper and holding it close. He hoped Kail would let him keep it. He knew he wouldn’t be allowed to just talk with Bing, but maybe at least he’d have someone else in his life.

When Bing left, Markus put the paper into his pockets, Kail thankfully not taking it from him.
“Let’s go.”, Kail tugged on Markus’ hand, making the omega nod lightly and follow along.
“Are we going home?…”, he asked quietly, to which he got a gruff “Sure.”.

Bing drove home and put his food away. He started searching for a good recipe, wanting to find one that Markus might like. After a few minutes he got stuck and was about to text the omega before realizing that he hadn’t gotten Markus’ number.

The alpha groaned to himself before continuing to search for recipes, picking ones that he thought might be able to find something for Markus.

When they were home, Kail helped Markus save Bing’s number in his phone, with the warning to only exchange recipes. Markus nodded, holding his phone close and settling down in a corner. He had to speak to text, both since he couldn’t really see anything, and because Kail would check his messages anyways.

So he texted Bing. “Hello Bing. This is Markus.”.
