Markus didn’t have his phone with him. He stayed the rest of the day in his corner, until Kail dragged him out of it. He was mad, because Markus had forgotten to make dinner, which meant he’d be hurt. He wasn’t good, he was bad. He couldn’t do anything.

He only grabbed his phone again two days later, when he went out. Kail said he would be gone for the day, so he wanted to go out. He hated being cooped up inside for too long.

Bing had gone out, wanting to just stretch and get away from things for a while. He couldn’t help it when his mind wondered back to the omega, scared that something might be wrong.

[Hey, you doing okay? I haven’t heard from you for a while]

Bing bit his lip before sighing and sending the message, not knowing if Markus would respond. For all he knew, the omega got a new number and forgot to tell him. He wouldn’t mind though, just as long as Markus was okay.

Markus looked at the message, but didn’t respond. As long as he didn’t respond to personal questions, Kail would let him keep the number. He didn’t want to lose the little bit of contact.

Markus was walking to the park, cane tapping against the ground. He wanted to go to the lake, with the weeping willow, because those were his favorite trees.
