“You have every opportunity to see it.”, Elvin smiled. He was comfortable here, with Agnes. He looked over to her at the compliment, smiling.
“You’re nice too. I’m really enjoying our time together a lot.”, he replied. He really did, he hadn’t had someone like Agnes to talk to with for a really long time.Agnes hums softly. “I enjoy our time together too. It’s nice to escape from all the misery of the world and just go outside…” She takes a deep breath. “Just shut off for a bit. It’s nice.”
She wraps his cloak closer around herself. It was colder on the ground. “Thank you for all of this.”
“There’s nothing to thank me for.”, Elvin said softly. “Thank you for being my company. It’s really nice not to be alone for once. I hope we can have more such nice moments.”.
He smiled, thinking about how nice it would be to be with Agnes a lot more. He didn’t really get lonely, but not being alone for once was really nice.
