Elvin sat down next to Agnes, curiously watching her paint. It was amazing to him, how humans could create things out of nothing. Though he supposed everyone could do so, humans were just… humans were pretty amazing. Scary as well, they could be.
After a while some birds decided to come watch as well, sitting in Elvin’s branches.
Agnes checks her watch after a bit. “Oh, I need to start walking.” She cleans up her set, then tucks it back in her backpack. She stands up and sighs. “It was nice meeting you again. I’ve got a potential job offer that I need to get ready for, if I wanna stay here.”
Elvin stood up with Agnes, smiling lightly.
“Feel free to come back here whenever you like. I’d love to talk to you again.”, he said, smiling. He liked Agnes, she was nice. He hoped she could stay here, so that he could see her more often. It wasn’t a lot of the time that he let anyone see him, yet alone talk with him.
