Forest deity

“Have a safe trip.”, Elvin replied with a smile, watching her leave. He’d be there if she needed help, but he trusted nothing would happen. There was no one else in the forest at the moment but her after all.

He sat down at the water’s edge, dipping his feet into the clear water. He hummed, content. He looked forward to seeing her again.

A couple days later, Agnes came back. She had the biggest smile on her face. She sat down by the water, looking out over the clear body. She was irresponsibly happy right now.

She laid down and sighed happily, looking up at the clouds. It was getting dark at that point. She couldn’t wait to see the stars.

Elvin was elsewhere in the forest when Agnes stepped inside, though he noticed her entering. It was a while after Agnes had laid down that he was back at the lake, easily spotting Agnes. She happened to be close to his tree, where he usually went to to come to the lake.

“Agnes!”, he called happily, walking over to where she was. “You’re back.”, he smiled, happy to see her.
