Enyo started to explain what was happening since he knew it would feel strange and just… Odd. “It won’t properly kick in for an hour or so.” He started licking his lips. “The spell will stop the poison dead in its track in that time, you’ll probably have a few minutes of feeling like the King of the world when everything is stopped. It’s when the magic starts pushing back against it. The body at first reacts to both as bad but as time goes it’ll just be the magic. It’s simply because its foreign that you get sick.”
“Okay..”, Markus mumbled softly. So he’d feel amazing in an hour or so, and then he’d feel absolutely terrible again. And be throwing up again. At least he was prepared for it this time.
“Can you stay close to me?..”, he asked quietly, looking to Enyo. He didn’t want him gone, or just away from him. For as long as he felt terribly sick, he’d be happy to have Enyo close. If Enyo was okay with it.
