Open starter ~ Royalty AU ~
The king was missing. Almost four years ago, the king and queen had been murdered, the oldest son had left the kingdom, and the second son was just fifteen. He had been forced to become king at such a young age, but had upkept the kingdome. It was as kind, open-minded and accepting as his parents had been, and as he himself was. His one flaw was, that he was too forgiving.
No one had seen it happen. A servant said king Markus had gone into the gardens, but there was no sign of him, or any sign of him having been taken. But he was gone, and the news spread like wildfire. The kingdom had no ruler, other than the royal adviser, which had to keep the kingdom calm, and find the king again.
Markus leaned heavily against the wood of the barrel. He couldn’t hear a lot going on anymore, since he was with all of the food supply. Surrounded by more barrels, holding fresh water.
He had no clue how much time passed, and what time it might be now. He just knee he was sick, and tired, so he tried to sleep. Hoping nothing too terrible awaited him wherever they were bringing him.
