The little creature hopped from Joshua’s hand onto his shoulder, curiously reaching out to his hair, but careful not to pull on it. He had learned it was like pulling on his feathers, and that really hurt, so he was very careful with his claws. Especially so he wasn’t scratching the skin beneath the hair!
“I’ll make sure not to sell it to anyone else.”, the man replied to Joshua, nodding.
Joshue hummed, shaking hands with the other. “Thank you.” He began to walk to where his carriage was, opening the door for the half elf. Normally he would have the other open it for him, but given they had many items in their hands it seemed unfair.
The mute elf smiled softly, bowing their head as they crawled into the carriage. It had surprised them at first that after their first bad reaction to a proper car their master had actually bought a horse drawn carriage.
Joshua climbed in after, keeping a hand near his shoulder to steady the harpy. “To the manor.” Was instructed to the small imps who controlled it. All were willing- they even got paid with free living area and food.
The little harpy was excited, and it would be happy to be jumping up and down, though it was pretty sure it wasn’t supposed to, because of its claws. So it just stayed perched on Joshua’s shoulder, looking around curiously. its eyes were a pretty golden colour, big and curious as it looked at the half elf.
It chirped, curious. It could talk, it remembered words and phrases! Not a lot, but it did! But it didn’t want to just talk when it wasn’t supposed to. He’d been called a songbird after all!
