Markus smiled softly, listening to Kyle. Maybe once his brother was king he could do that.
“I don’t know.”, he answered his question then. “My parents alive again.”, he chuckled sadly. There was nothing else that would make him happy. He knew his brother wouldn’t come back, and he knew he would never get to properly mourn the loss of his parents, and he’d never get over thinking he was a terrible king. He would probably forever have his insecurities and anxieties and worries.“If we had forever together I’d spend my time trying to make you happy.” Kyle says after some thought. “You’ve been through so much someone should at least try and make you happy and support you however they can.”
Markus was surprised by Kyle’s words, blushing, embarrassed. “Well I have a few years to find someone I can love and keep by my side, before I’m practically force to be with someone.”, he said softly.
“It’s quite alright, really. I’ve grown used to it.”, he said softly. He had grown used to hiding his feelings and pretending to be someone he wasn’t.
