Neko Host AU ~ Open starter ~

Host was curled up in the corner of his kennel, as far away from the corridor as he could. He was a rescue from a very terrible owner, who had abused him badly. He was afraid of everyone, and blind on top of that.

So no one wanted him, of course. Most people wanted the cute nekos, the younger ones. The ones who loved to play and cuddle. But Host, he was afraid of being touched, he barely even spoke. He was so stuck in his habits from being abused, that living was so hard, that someone had to make sure he even ate. Because he was stuck on thinking he needed permission. And that was just one of the many things wrong with him.

Host cried out softly as he felt the syringe, easily falling asleep. He wasn’t even uncooperative, and everyone would know that. He just needed to be told what to do, and he’d most likely do it.

But he never got a choice in anything anyways, so why would this be any different? It was known he had been drugged before with his last owner as well.

Trent locked the cage, rolling it out to the signing room. He leaned against the wall, yearning for a smoke.

Daniel had finished signing, and was softly talking to the woman. She said one last thing before standing up, and walking him to the door. “Congratulations on your new pet.”

He smiled softly, then dropped it as he peered in. The neko, Host, was passed out, crumpled with his face pressed against the wall. There was a small bleeding mark on his neck and he turned to Marcy. “How…?” She looked closer, then whirled on Trent.

“My office. Now. Have a good day, Mr. Jil.” She followed after the teen, her eyes narrowed.

David narrowed his as well, but said nothing. He did however open the kennel, gently picking up the frail hybrid and cradling him. He carried him out the building, barely taking a second to get the supply bag. He then laid him in the backseat, placing a blanket. Within ten minutes they were at his home.

Host was out for an hour or so, thankfully the sedatives didn’t work for too long. He didn’t feel well when he woke up, and hr could feel he wasn’t laying on the ground of his kennel anymore.

He whimpered softly, curling up tighter. His head felt bad, and he knew what had happened without having to be told. He had been sedated a lot before, though not in the centre he had been at. He had experienced a lot of drugs, though most common catnip. He hated it the most.
