“Yes. This is the capital.”, Markus replied and chuckled softly. He continued leading her, though slowly, so she could look around. They had left the horse behind, after Markus had made sure someone would bring it back for them.
The capital was known for a lot of people and things. The magic was clear in the air, and many things were clearly using magic to function. And sometimes, there was a person or child with one of Markus’ plush animals, and they often greeted him, and his companion.
Nox stayed close to Host, sending the magic in the air itself. It made her fingers and toes tingle. Her bear bounced on her shoulders and waved to any other plushies they saw.
It was nothing like her town, it was bright and vibrant with smiling faces greeting Host as they walked by.
“Am I dreaming?” She mumbled
“No. You’re very much awake.”, Markus replied and chuckled, smiling. He knew Nox would be a little overwhelmed, seeing so much new things around.
“We’re going to my home, alright?”, he said then, looking over to her. Some proper food would do them good though, so maybe he should treat her to something here.
