Markus chuckled softly, taking Nox’s hand and shaking it lightly.
“I’m Markus. It is very nice to meet you as well.”, he replied with a smile. The cat-like plush on his shoulders waved a little as well.“Would you like to go somewhere else to talk, Nox?”, he asked then. He wouldn’t mind staying here either, though.
Nox nodded eagerly.
“Yeah! Take me wherever.” She heard stories of folk disappearing in woodlands but they were magic stories so no one took it them seriously. “I want to travel with you and learn about magic.” She bounced on her heels, excited at the idea that she would see the world as it should be and not what she had been shrouded by.
“What about your family?”, Markus asked, though offered her a hand to take. Who was he to say no? Bringing her away from here seemed better for her, than letting her stay. He did want to know about her family though. She may not be that young anymore, but..
“I’ll gladly bring you back home. To my home. I didn’t want to stay in this country much longer anyways.”, he hummed softly.
