“It’s not weird at all.”, Markus replied with a soft smile. “May I see what you’re holding for a moment? I’ll give it back shortly.”, he requested then. He wanted to see what magic it was, if he could still get traces of it to make out what it had been ones.
He would love to tell her magic was real, and that she held a growing power inside her self like everyone else did. He could imagine her magic to be smaller than it should be, just from how she was raised. Not embracing it as a part of herself. But with her positive outlook on it, he was sure it would still grow healthily.
Nox was reluctant to give the bear over, it had always been a comfort to her, even now but this person didn’t seem to want to do her or her bear any harm so she stood up and handed it over to him, making sure she put it in his hands since he hadn’t opened his eyes.
“Please be careful” she mumbled out of instinct.
“Thank you. Of course.”, Markus replied softly. He was mildly surprised when he felt the bear in his hands. He could feel the wilted flowers inside, making the bear appear less stuffed than when it just had been made. He wondered how one of his plushs had made it here.
“I must say, I’m surprised.”, he said, holding it back out for Nox. “It’s a plush I had made, long ago. It’s nice to know it’s loved even wilted.”, he smiled softly.
