“No it’s.. okay..”, Markus replied softly and shook his head. He still helplessly stood where he had been left.
“I- uhm. Don’t know if the titles are written on them?”, he wasn’t sure if his braille books had normal letters on them too.

“It’s uhm. One of the few with the author’s name written in gold? They’re- they’re from The Author. The most worn one?”.

Agnes nods and sorts through them until she finds them. “Alright. If you ever want anything, just ask.” She stands back up with the book he requested. “Here you go. Do you want a place to sit?”

She guides him to an arm chair and sits him down, then gives him the book. “There you go.” She smiles and rubs his head gently.

Markus let Agnes lead him, being a bit stiff when he was sat down. He hugged the book close to himself, glad to have it.
“Thank you.”, he said quietly. He carefully made himself a little bit comfortable, before he opened his books to read.

Markus almost reached out after her, fingers lightly stretched out after her, before he held his hands close to himself.

What was he supposed to do? He stood in place, fiddling with his fingers, uncertain.

Agnes sighs softly. “Come here.” She stood up and walked towards him again. “Do you want to do anything? You seem very nervous. I want to help you relax.”

She holds his hands still, then holds them close to herself.

“I’d.. I’d like to read..”, Markus replied quietly. He was pretty sure his favorite book should be here too, since Agnes must’ve gotten his braille books -he didn’t own a lot. Ten at maximum. And his favorite book would help him relax at least.

“I prefer my cabin. But I’ll let Markus stay with you. Once I’m done dealing with his old home and shit, I’ll be going home.”, Arthur replied, waving Bing off. He didn’t like living inside of cities, no matter if he was further away from Markus or not.

“You’ll leave after lunch?”, Markus asked, while happily nuzzling against Bing. He was very happy to be here with him.
“Yeah.”.

Markus quietly wondered why she contradicted herself. She wouldn’t get angry, but also kind of would? He just hoped that his mind wouldn’t get the great idea of seeking any sort of punishment from going in there.

Agnes led him around quietly, then went back downstairs with him. “There we go. That’s the house.” She smiles softly. “Anything else you need?”

Markus shook his head lightly. He wouldn’t be able to remember the layout of the house for now anyways, just one tour didn’t help him much but let him know there were indeed rooms in this home.

Arthur met Markus already in the hall, going with him to the bathroom. They were brothers, and pretty much used to it. And this way Markus could shower, and Arthur could talk with him.

“Are you sure he’s good for you? That he’s who you want?”, Arthur was pretty sure Bing was an okay guy, but he wanted to make sure Markus would be happy as well. “I’ll take you home with me if I need to.”.

Markus giggled in return, shaking his head lightly. “I’m very sure. And I know, but you won’t have to. I’m happy here.”.

Bing finished cleaning up and redressed himself, stretching and yawning softly. If they go another round they‘d probably have to take a nap or something.

Bing walked out of his room and head over to the kitchen, starting to cook for himself, Markus, and Arthur. If he and Markus were going to be mated together, then Bing would have to get along with Arthur, and this should help a little bit.

Markus and Arthur kept talking about it until Markus was done showering and got to dress into Arthur’s shirt, since he didn’t bring any clothes and the shirt he had worn before was full of sweat now.

Together they walked to the kitchen, Markus happily walking up to Bing and wrapping his arms around him.
“I think I’ll leave you two for the heat.”, Arthur said, leaning in the doorway. “Newly bonded mates tend to be very protective, and I know Markus is safe here with you.”.
