“Thank you.”, Markus said softly, looking towards Daniel with a little smile.
“Can.. you help me a little?..”, he asked quietly then. “I.. I just need to know what you made.. and where any glasses and such are..”, he mumbled. He didn’t want to grab into an open jar or glass, or knock something over.

Markus notably didn’t eat a lot, though he tried, if only because of the blood loss. He was still glad when he was done though, and was freed of the food.

“It was great. Thank you.”, he replied and smiled softly. He leaned against Daniel when he sat next to him again.

Daniel smiled and laid his chin on Markus hair softly. He hummed softly to him and wrapped him in a blanket. „You should rest a bit, I’ll be here watching over you.“ he reassured him.

Markus hummed, instead climbing into Daniel’s lab and wrapping his arms around him, resting his head onto his shoulder.

He didn’t plan to leave the bed anyways, but Daniel was nicely warm. Markus was easily cold, being underweight and having anemia.

Markus relaxed on top of Daniel, enjoying his warmth, the blanket wrapped around the both somewhat. He was tired, thanks to his crying and bleeding, and didn’t feel any motivation to move much at all. And as long as he was warm and safe, he was okay with staying with Daniel.

“Can you tell me about yourself?”, Markus asked, mumbling. He would like to know more about him.

“No to the second question. I don’t think I can answer the first.”, Arthur wrote back. He took care to still read everything aloud to Markus, so he knew what was happening.

“Do you read a lot?”, he asked in return. He wondered if she had a book by him. He was pretty popular, though who knew how much she liked to read. Especially his genres.

“She’s leaving anyways. Here, say bye.”, Arthur hummed and showed Markus where to reply. Markus was careful as he wrote, slow and wonky letters. “Goodbye.”.

“Now let’s make some food, okay?”, Markus hummed with a small smile. Arthur sighed and nodded, the two getting up

Agnes smiled softly at the answer, then washed all the ink off. She went to the kitchen to cook something small before she went to read. She sat down on the couch and read quietly, eating while she did. She fell asleep there.

The following morning, she wrote her soulmate a little good morning message. She got into clean clothes and grabbed some toast before heading out to work. Coffee and cereal was free at work.

Markus washed off the messages, but kept his drawn on arm. He continued doodling after they had eaten something, until his entire arm was covered. Before he went to bed, he was it off though.

He was awake early in the morning, though stayed in bed, listening to a podcast, as his brother went back to writing in the study, working. He couldn’t bother him too much with his soulmate stuff, so he’d let him be. He had the marker from the day before with him though.

“Can’t read your messages until evening. Sorry” he wrote on his arm, hoping not to cover anything she might have written, before putting the marker away again.

Enyo wandered the forest with a small smile on his face, since the storm he had erected a cottages which was small on the outside but big inside so that it didn’t damage the surroundings. It was made of magic technically so no humans would stumble upon his home. He still didn’t have a name nor face for the forest deity, he was just very thankful for permission to stay. @crushed-starrdust

Elvin was very happy having Enyo here. It was just nice, and the animals of the forest were peaceful around him as well. They didn’t mind the little cottage, as well as visiting there. As long as Enyo was peaceful and kind, nothing and no one living in this forest would bother Enyo.

Elvin liked watching Enyo sometimes, rarely talking to him again -staying hidden most of the time, though not so that Enyo couldn’t see him if he would try.

The deity was currently on a small clearing, tending to some flowers. Humming some melodies he remembered as he helped them grow, and made sure no weeds would kill the little flowers.

Enyo took his hand brushing himself off. “O-only if you are sure.” He kept stumbling over his words surprised he wanted to show him. The area had to be sacred, the magic wouldn’t protect it otherwise, at least that’s how he made sense of the barrier. Especially since Elvin didn’t make it.

“I am very sure.”, Elvin replied with a smile and a nod, happily holding Enyo’s hand and leading him. It wasn’t too far from where he had been, soon passing by the charm -which welcomed Enyo through as Elvin did-, and after a short while longer, the clearing was visible through the trees.

When they passed, the lake laid big before them, the water crystal clear and reflecting the light of the sun. Not far from where they emerged, at the edge of the clearing, but closer to the lake than the other trees, stood the oldest and biggest tree of the forest.

Colourful black

Since birth, you have a black marking on your body, where your soulmate will first touch you. It bursts into colour when you and your soulmate touch.

Markus didn’t know what could possibly happen to him. The black marking where his soulmate would first touch him was wrapped around his wrist, and he couldn’t tell if it was him getting pulled by it, or his wrist being held, or his arm moved, or anything. But he knew his soulmate would at least, hopefully, be able to notice they had touched when they did.

He stayed home a lot, blind and unable to work due to it. He liked going out though, to the park, sometimes.

Markus was surprised when someone talked to him so randomly. He hummed lightly, nodding.

“It’s nicely warm, and rather quiet today. It’s nice.”, he agreed. He had his eyes closed, knees drawn up to his chest. Just enjoying being here, listening to the birds.

Jasmine was a young woman in her mid twenties, she worked as a waitress in a local restaurant. For as long as she could remember she had a black spot on the palm of her hand. Perhaps she and her soulmate would hold hands upon their first meeting for some reason? She wasn’t sure. Today she decided to go to the park on her day off.

She walked around the park with her headphones on. She was oblivious to much around her.

Markus was settled on the ground near the lake, enjoying listening to nature. He knew he might meet his soulmate without touching them first. A lot of people could talk and be friends and have never touched after all. He didn’t mind it too much, that he may not find his soulmate any time soon. He was pretty fine on his own.

“I would believe it will make it warmer.”, Markus replied with a hum. He was pretty used to being in crates and barrels by now, just being able to lay was enough for him. Sure he had had a bed while he had to recover, but he certainly wouldn’t mind just laying on the ground either.

“How cold does it get in the night?”, he asked, curious. Maybe Oliver knew.

“It’s not winter yet, but it does get cooler by night. The blanket will definitely keep you warm.”, he responded. He didn’t care if he became too cold. Usually he had to keep watch, so being asleep wasn’t a priority for him. “You can have it. I don’t need it.”

“Are you sure? I don’t want you to go cold. I’d happily share with you.”, Markus was obviously a worried about Oliver, not wanting him to be cold or anything. Markus did get cold easily, and he appreciated getting a blanket, but he still wanted to make sure Oliver would be alright as well.

“Of course darling” Daniel smiled softly and gently took his hand. He then placed his hand on the buns and croissants on the plate. Then he let him touch the little bowl with jelly, and then the glass next to it with the juice.

“That’s everything there is, Markus” he said softly and looked at him. God this man was beautiful, even his eyes which had a dull color were just mesmerizing.

“Thank you.”, Markus replied softly, carefully starting to eat. He never ate a lot, so he wasn’t sure if he’d eat it all, but at least it wasn’t far too much. He was thankful for that.

In the darkness of his room, since he didn’t think Daniel had turned the lights on, it was hard to tell how his eyes looked like. He hadn’t been born blind, and thus his eyes looked pretty much normal. In the light, they looked almost golden in colour.
