Just want everyone to know that if you can’t access my blog, it isn’t because I have blocked you. Tumblr is acting up and some people, (mostly those in the EU it seems), can’t access anyone’s blogs.
If you can’t access my blog, then that’d be the annual tumblr fuckening happening.
What Ori said.
Sorry to anyone that want to access my blog but can’t D:

friendly reminder that even if i take ages to reply, i still want to roleplay with you
Guys if you made a post or reblogged something about the new Wilford video that wasn’t the video Mark posted, please delete it. The guy who had made the behind the scenes posts made his Instagram private after the thing exploded. Mark most likely found out and told him to delete it or make the account private. Please. This was supposed to be a secret, someone made a mistake, and it exploded.
tumblr mirrors on ‘photosugar’
So idk if others have noticed this before – but it’s the first time I’m seeing this, hence the post.
There’s a website, https://www.photosugar.com, which apparently mirrors all pictures, gifsets etc. people post on their tumblrs (and also other social media sites like twitter and instagram, if I understand it correctly).
An example for a tumblr user, with my name:
https://www.photosugar.com/tu/lordhellebore
Now it won‘t turn up anything but a 404 error in my case, because I sent an e-mail to the contact address, which is darius@photosugar.com with the title “My content on your website”:
Hello,
it’s come to my attention that you are mirroring all of the posts containing
pictures/gifs that I post on my tumblr. I am asking you to stop pulling the content from my tumblr and to
delete me from your website.tumblr username is „lordhellebore“
Thank you.
I got a reply consisting of the single word “removed” after just one day, and as you can see, it worked perfectly fine with the informal mail I sent. So if you want them to stop mirroring your tumblr, it seems all you really need to do is this.
I can’t test the site for all of my mutuals, but I’m tagging a few whom I found on there by random trial & error, and I suggest you look yourself up if you see this post and dislike tumblr mirrors (even if this one is only for pictures, not text).
@janiedean, @ladytp, @vaysh11, @lunavagantt, @einemelodieimwind, @robb-greyjoy, @youbuggingme, @ysilme, @rex-luscus, @bai-xue, @viendiletto, @electricalice, @contessa-de-leusse, @memetic-mutism, @bluecichlid, @mrs-storm-andrews, @ladymothwing, @prismatic-bell, @kittykatknits, @tinkili
….basically, whomever I’m trying at random, it seems that you’re on there.
Please reblog so others can know and ask for removal if they want to.
Reblogging this because for whatever perverted, voyeuristic reason, the person or persons who run this “photosugar” have copied my random as hell blog. Just sent an email to the address stated in the original post, and I highly suggest you all look on this site for your content as well.
Here you can now remove yourself, instead of writing an e-mail (you’ll get the link as reply as well)
https://www.photosugar.com/remove
If you post personal pictures (like of yourself) you should probably delete yourself here? I did at the very least
All the LIES about the new EU copyright law.
(Because I read the law text, not the lies people write online)
Important: Read till the end
- Today (2018-07-05) it didn’t pass, we won!: TRUE, it will be reanalyzed on September, but this time there will be a public and democratic debate, those controversial articles will be almost for sure changed o abolished. We can say that is a HUGE win, they can’t resubmit it without change it. So, we avoid the biggest danger. On September we’ll see.
- I will not be able to see my fave Europen Youtubers anymore: FAKE, gamers always been legally okay because gaming companies allowed the “let’s play” content. They also let “let’s players” monetize their videos on gaming companies intellectual property.
- Memes will be banned: MAYBE NOT, could be that just a few, it depends on how comprehensive of the meme culture movie/series/music companies are. Could still happen that they allow it. STILL…. Memes are image parodies, so if removed can be disputed. Stick with me, I will explain this later.
- The frightening censorship machine: DOESN’T EXIST, online just give this bad name making bigger the simple fact that recognition systems could exchange a parody for a real content. Youtube already have this systems, and there are a lot of parodies!!
- I can’t do remixes, memes or parodies anymore: FAKE, this law will not touch the 2001/29/CE action Article 5 paragraph 3 letters d) (quotations for purposes such as criticism or review) and k) (use for the purpose of caricature, parody or pastiche). BUT the new law also say: “Member States shall ensure that the service providers referred to in paragraph 1 put in place complaints and redress mechanisms that are available to users in case of disputes over the application of the measures referred to in paragraph 1.” Basically say that you can immediately make a complain if the automatic system block you from post something. PERSONAL NOTE: Sometimes I make Jack and Mark edits, and a lot of times Instagram block me from post something, I made a complain and after a few minutes my video was up. Once Instagram exange “True Colors” by “Cindy Lauper” with Mark’s overvoice for a German tv program… I was like “WTF?!?!” but with a complain after a minute everything was fine. WHY FOR YOU IS SUCH A BIG DEAL NOW???
- I will not be able to post fanart: Fake, you are the owners of the copyright of your draws, so you still can post fanarts.
- I will not be able to post links: FAKE(almost), the “link tax” is not a tax and will not grave on us. Basically is what Google/social media will have to pay JUST FOR INFORMATION SITES, for post the snippet (title and image). Because they get money from sharing but never pay back the owner of the articles. So, what does it mean? That this could penalize small information sites if for example Google makes a deal with big sites. But is not exactly censorship, is just unfair.
Beware from the ignorant people that prefer say things as they want them to be, NOT AS THEY ARE.
Spread the truth!!
Article 13 – update
GUYS THEY’VE REJECTED ARTICLE 11 AND 13 !!!!
THE INTERNET REMAINS FILTER- AND CENSOR FREEthey’ve rejected both articles today and it’s so fucking amazing, I can breathe free, my skins cleared and I’m hoping for my crops to be watered.
YES YES YES YES
Thank you to all the people who signed the petition. You saved us.
it’s sad that when net neutrality happened, there were even warnings from tumblr staff
and now that europe is in danger, no one talks about it. it’s complete silence.
Here’s the link to the petition, if you’re not coward anymore to support us. We’re so far away from 1M, and the times flies too fast.
Article 11 is even worse, maybe
Even the posts that are tagged with both almost exclusively talk about article 13.
Like guys. Guys guys guys. I love memes and fandom too.
But article 11 makes websites pay any website they link to.
Do you think they’re just gonna… do that? Or will they stop making links, making it even harder to verify anything you read online?
- Legitimate organizations like newspapers are already struggling to survive in the internet age. Let’s punish them financially for adapting to the new platform, just to make sure they go under, shall we?
- Links are more expensive = they’re used less often = it’s normal for something completely true to use no citations = more difficult to distinguish whether something’s fake or just European
- Platforms that don’t want to spend more money could just… disable links. Tumblr already does in the ask box. Think about how difficult that is when you’re trying to back up your point.
- Ironically, paying for links makes people less likely to cite intellectual property they’re using. Not that that will matter, because article 13 means the death of fair use.
- This affects everyone. The internet has no borders, and this will affect much more of the content that you consume than you realize. That’s before you think about the dangerous precedent this sets for other countries.
If the ignorance of people scares you now, just wait. Or better yet, make a fuss before July 4th (North America)/5th (Europe) (2018).
Article 13 got approved and that means the internet will be censored for all countries under the EU. If that happens, it’s likely bloggers from affected countries cannot post content anymore. I wouldn’t be able to post gifs, edits, icons, anything anymore. Even adding links to posts could cost money. You can get more information here and here or simply using google to find information from a source you trust. Please sign the petition here and here (everyone can sign this one apparently) to prevent this from happening. I don’t want to lose my blog.
