I see it usually in the context of āesk*mo kissesā which may pop up when people talk about their ships and their headcanon, but it means āsnow eatersā in cree and is a slur against Inuit people so please just donāt use it!

Also if you want to refer to āāeskimo kissesāā and not use that term the Inuit term for it is āākunikāā. Itās a traditional greeting usually between relatives or a child and an adult, although itās a little different from nose kisses so most Canadians call it āāInuit kissāā and Iāve heard other people call it āābunny kissesāā. Either way thereās no excuse to use āāeskimoāā in this context or another.

I think I figured out how to stop the obnoxious notification spam that has been telling meĀ ā[name] mentioned youā every time somebody reblogs a post I was ever tagged in, even if they never mention me in THEIR reblog!
1. Go to Account, the little person head and shoulders in upper right.
2. Go to Settings, with the gear icon.
3. Uncheck the new āconversational notificationsā switch.

what about when someone reblogs your post and you get two notifications- one saying they reblogged it and another saying they commented on it ? Has that been happening to anyone else?
Does anyone else have the problem that this off switch doesnāt show up? Idk if itās a Europe thing or just random but I really wish I could switch it off already! š¦
Yeah I dunno if this is some fancier version of tumblr but at least on my laptop my notifications settings doesnāt have nearly a many options as these screencaps suggest it should

I still donāt have those options in both desktop and mobile, but to those that do, go ahead and turn them off!
In my opinion, I donāt think followers really understand how much your requests/likes/reblogs/etc. and random asks mean to me. Itās just so refreshing and nice to know that people enjoy what Iām doing and support me.
People that go the extra mile and send an ask or message letting me know they liked my stuff honestly makes my day. I love reading tags and stuffā¦itās honestly so cuteā¦.
And people who ask about how Iām doing or send me random questions or cute asksā¦.I just want you guys to know it honestly makes my day. I just love all the interaction and such. It makes running a blog so much more enjoyable.
And Fanart/Fanwork? Honestly thatās one of the greatest things to receive. To everyone that draws or writes, please donāt feel too insecure to send it end! No one is going to criticize you over quality. Itās so sweet that you even thought about making somethingā¦I will always appreciate it no matter what, and Iām sure all other content creators feel the same.
