They do ( surprisingly ) but Wilfords got his head untie book trying to make sure that he isn’t mistaken that he walks straight to Hoat. Like straight into him. I’m here to meet my soulmate but he’s blind and I have no idea if this is the right place and have you send a blind man?- oh my go that’s so rude I’m so so sorry.”

Host is so startled at first when someone walks into him, before giggling at wilford’s rambling. they were able to exchange nicknames, so he just asked if wilford is whatever he told host as nickname, and that he is “host” and is also hoping to meet his soulmate. smiling happily, because he’s sure he found them.

Wilford is constantly praising him. For someone who’s blind he can write really well! After lots of censorship (mainly on Wilfords behalf) he finds out that they live in not only the same country but town. Now was the question of how the fuck would they meet.

its incredibly hard to even find out they live in the same town. through random means of favorite places and foods they could get here without naming places. they more assume it must be the same town

they try to meet in places that serve the things they love. its hard, since places sell the same things, so they use drawings as best as possible -which is pretty much impossible for host to do, but he tries.

eventually, host is waiting in front of yet another shop, holding his journal close, hoping his soulmate had the same place in mind and would find him

There’s a few pages of him telling Host about himself and generic things about where he lives so that it doesn’t get censored. He always tried to mark the page with the date and since he started he hadn’t missed a day. He tried to find a way to write a place they could meet up but the majority of it was censored and he doesn’t know how to talk to him so easy a sad sap

Host finally writes in it again, saying he’s sorry. he has no idea how to meet his soulmate, not even if they were in the same country or not. he hates being unable to talk with his soulmate.

so he tries to write, even if its shaky and not a straight line and not proper spacing. because he feels bad for never writing anything

Wilfords trying to fund ways to talk to him but all he has is the book and his soulmate is blind so he doesn’t know what to do? Maybe he tries writing in Braille by poking holes in the page so he has the Braille alphabet saved incase Hpst ever replies but he doesn’t know if host has even seen his attpt

host opens the journal one day and finds pages covered in stuff, and figures out after a while his soulmate attempted braille and hes so touched and jiust. scared his soulmate hates him for never replying

I was think the journal one then my first thought was that they bury have had it or a while but no one corrected Host when he started writing in the wrong book so Wilfords been writing to him in the soul book and Host has been writing to him in… Not the soul book lmao

host is scared to write in his journal anyways. he doesnt want anyone else looking in it (maybe other people cant see if the soulmate responds?) and since hes blind, he just. doesnt want to embarrass himself ?

he probably wrote in it once, like “im blind” or smth and never again out of fear or smth
