Samuel took the leash Frank offered him, clipping it onto Host’s collar. “Time to go, little one. Follow me.” He gently pulled on it, leading Host outside. / “We can’t assure he won’t be adopted.” “I know.” After a few more minutes of chatting he let her go, bowing his head in sadness. (Out now!

Host squeaked softly, following behind as best as possible. He was pretty good at walking around on his own, so he wasn’t too bothered. He was glad Frank had gotten him a soft nice collar he liked wearing.

He followed outside, glad he got to hug his bunny at the very least.

“Oh Host…” She murmured. “He only did it just in case you get adopted. It was so you might be able to bond with a new Alpha. But he plans on getting you right back!” She smiled brightly, looking at him. “He loves you so much.”

Host just stayed quiet. He didn’t want to try and believe her. He was hurt, and all he wanted was to leave and hide somewhere. He hoped they’d go soon, because this was just torture for him. If only someone would say he’s bad, would yell at him, it would be much easier to accept leaving.

“He’s going on some hard times, Host. He doesn’t want you to be hurt by it so he’s being a good Alpha and sending you to a place where you will be healthy until he can get back on his feet and get you right back.” She explained softly. “He loves you very much.”

Host shook his head. He didn’t know what to believe, and all he wanted to do was make a nest somewhere secluded and hide forever.

He didn’t understand why he was being send away. It must be because he was a bother. He needed more care, being blind, he knew. He must be too much work. Too expensive.

“He unclaimed me.”, he whispered, choking on tears again. No one would want him anymore, did they? Or maybe someone would, and he’d never see Frank again. It just scared him more.
