Their smile brightened and they happily touched Q’s hair, making a soft sound as they felt the soft texture from it. It was new and interesting, and felt a lot different from their own hair -which they curiously touched with their other hair. The spirit’s hair was rough and almost wiry, though full and thick. The colour not much unlike rich soil.

“People? Me and you!”, they let go of Q’s hair, shaking their head lightly. There were only the two of them here, and no one else around! At least, they hadn’t seen anyone anywhere nearby.

“Name?”, they repeated, curious. They had no clue what a name was, but they wondered! They were very curious.

“Lovely!”, they copied, and giggled happily. From their messy hair, barely the beginning of two branches grew on their head, peeking through the wild tangled hair. They were easily overlooked with how small they still were.

Their big eyes looked curiously up at the other being, curious about their nature. So unlike anything and everything he had ever seen before, though he hadn’t seen anything before. Only a few hours ago did they open their eyes for the first time, seeing everything in this world.

Their laughter was utterly adorable, and if he knew the little one better he may of ruffled that mess of hair, though his eyes had drawn to the oddities hidden within, he didn’t question them. Whatever they were, he was sure they were still harmless.

Politely Q decided to crouch, he wasn’t extremely tall but human standards, but he wasn’t exactly short. So being friendly he came down to the others level, blowing stray blue strands from his silver eyes. “You don’t speak much yet hm?” It was hard to tell, based upon being mimicked twice the young thing either spoke another tongue or was in fact young enough to not know many words. Still, it didn’t hurt to attempt to get to know the other, they seemed friendly, and he was always happy for new companionship.

“Are you all alone here?”

The little spirit curiously looked at Q’s hair, blue not much unlike the sky, or the water. He reached out to it, wanting to touch it, wanting to feel the sky, the water of the lake, twinkling like the silver of Q’s eyes.

“Alone?”, they tilted their head. They looked to their tree, and then the lake, and then back at Q. They were alone, but they weren’t lonely! They had everything around them with them, talking with them, and they understood easily. They wondered if Q couldn’t.

Little Sapling

Elvin was happily walking through the forest, talking the the animals and trees, to the flowers and the wind. Not long and he was humming, soft songs the wind carried in its breeze. He loved music, humming and singing with the birds, and what he heard of children playing in the forest.

He was very happy as he made his way easily through the thicket, softly singing a song that carried through the trees, adding to the birds’ trilling and rustling of leafs.

The land was vast. Green fields, just waiting to be taken over by humans. A big lake graced its features, the water crystal clear and shining brightly. Close to it grew a single tree. If it managed to stand there without humans cutting it down, it was sure to grow for hundreds of years into a big and mighty tree.

That tree was blessed to have a spirit being born with it from such a small state. It wasn’t uncommon for older trees to bring forth a spirit, as old and wise as the tree was. But this young tree had a spirit just as young. Nameless and new to the world, the spirit’s amber eyes took in the sun and the beautiful lake in front of them. They learned quickly they couldn’t move away from their tree, or they’d be pulled back to it. They didn’t really mind it too much. Just seeing was amazing to the young spirit.

Places like these were Quinton’s favorite, air devoid of anything except the hints of flora, and earthy tones. The sky clear, and the grass under his feet- a rare occasion where he’d decided to be without shoes. His wings, unfortunately, were still hidden under his glamour, as empty as the land may be he knew all too well humans could still be about and he didn’t feel like putting himself at risk or stress.

For the moment, he had been drawn to the tree- be it the odd aura that seemed to lie in..or was that beside it? – Or the fact that the tree stood alone in the expanse of grass, untouched, and beautiful.

It was unexpected to spot a small being as he wandered closer, a curious look on his face- however, Q’s entire being emitted no threat, and as he drew closer he eventually made his presence known. Intrigued as to whom- or possibly what would be out here all alone. It could simply be a human, but the aura seemed..speical.

“Hello?”

The little spirit looked up from where they stood next to their tree. They were young and naive, without any knowledge besides of what nature provided. Language was something he didn’t yet know, except the sound of rustling leafs, birds singing their songs, and the gentle sound of water moving. Even rain was a song they knew about.

But still, they smiled seeing someone else. They didn’t know what this newcomer was, who he might be, but they were glad to see.
“Hello!”, they copied. The soft breeze whispering words to them, about words and gestures, humans and other beings. They listened, curious about the world they were so new to.

So…I just learned that tumblr has a newish policy.
New blogs are hidden from tags. So….say you make an ask/rp blog and then put out a post to get attention for it………no one can see it. until you ‘seem human’ through re blogging and commenting. Which ask blogs rarely do. also sideblogs cant like things

this explains why bots have taken to rebloging peoples posts and commenting on them. To get around the policy and seem ‘human’

So if you made a new blog and feel like it was ignored…..its not your fault. Its tumblrs shitty system. im testing getting around it by pming friends through the blog,,,so we’ll see if that works

/ i wanna roleplay something

/ but for that your muse needs to be some sort of immortal/very long lived character

/ i want your muse to have met my tree spirit when it was just him and his tree at a lake

/ and then hundreds of years later your muse goes there again, through a big forest, to the lake where the tree spirit is now a forest deity

I’m down to role play in the morning, if you’re still interested. It’s almost 3am where I am

/ we can sure try yea
