Elvin was surprised by the hug, but happily hugged her back, smiling.
“Oh! I would love to see them!”, he replied, curious what she might have brought him. He didn’t know a lot of things, especially from the villages. Sometimes people gifted the forest things which he took -and trinkets which he decorated his branches with.“I’m very curious.”, he said and chuckled softly.
Nox chuckled as she pulled out the blanket.
“Then you can literally feed your curiosity with the stuff I’ve brought along” she laid the blanket down near the lake before sitting down and patting a space near her.
She unpacked the food she had bought from the stalls apart from the chocolate, she wanted to save that for last.
“Help yourself, Elvin”
Elvin sat down with her, curiously watching. So she had brought him food! He was always curious about trying that, since he didn’t need any food to survive. He lived for as long as his tree did after all.
“And what did you bring?”, he asked, curiously picking up the bread, looking it over.
