A young girl was so happy that her little cheetah plushie came to life for her, she didn’t question it at all. He was her only friend in a world where she had no one. She played with him and performed for him, her magic while still weak was developing nicely. She tried to use her magic to get coin in order for her to eat.

She slept her cheetah friend close to her chest after it too had seemed to go bed. But one day it was stormy she was trying to look for a place to hid with her in her arms.

Markus was walking around the town with an umbrella, humming softly as the rain fell down on it. He was on his way home, his brown coat having dark spots from the rain. Intricate patterns were sewn on it, like on every plush he made.

He didn’t mind when he felt the presence of someone else nearby. He was walking around with his eyes closed, as he always did, though wasn’t very bothered by it it seemed.

A young child tried to stay behind the man to get some protection from his umbrella, she was shivering and tried to keep her friend from getting soaked with water. The girl hoped the man didn’t get mad at her.

Besides she was only going to follow him till she could find a safer place to rest for the day. Though the one thing that could give her away was her growling stomach. She hasn’t eaten in a few days.

Markus noticed when someone was so close to him no matter if a stomach growl gave them away or not. So he slowly stopped walking, so she wouldn’t walk into him accidentally.

“Excuse me? Can I help you?”, he asked softly, slowly turning around. “I don’t mind you being here, I’m just wondering as to why.”, he didn’t want to scare her away talking to her.
