“Of course the Host is here.”, Host answered as he opened the door, a small motion of his head which indicated he’d roll his eyes.
“This is the library, after all, as well as connected to the Host’s room. Jasmine should be aware the Host doesn’t leave these rooms unless necessary.”.
“Jasmine is simply lacking in manners experience. Not everyone will be able to like her, no matter what she does. Though apologizing and respecting another’s person boundaries is very helpful.”, the Host said, sighing. He could imagine Anti wasn’t the best at parenting, though he would guess Dark was more or less strict. Well, perhaps not with family, seeing how he tolerates Anti’s behaviour.
“The Host doesn’t hate Jasmine. He does tolerate her, even if her behaviour isn’t the most likeable for the Host.”.
“I understand. I guess Dad and Father haven’t really…taught me much in that department. Father is all about keeping everyone in line except for Dad. Dad is…a different story. I’m lucky if I get a hug from him. He’s usually busy hanging all over father or tormenting the others for fun. I learn from the other egos as much as I can.” She explained.
“When I get in trouble with Father it never ends well for me. Sometimes it feels like I wasn’t wanted.” She told him, this was the most honest she had ever been with someone. To hear him say he tolerated her was a huge relief, what she did next was a rare sign of affection as she hugged Host. Her aura was most blue and small as it normally swayed with her emotions.
Host listened quietly, and he would almost say she tried to guiltrip him, if his narration didn’t tell him she was just honest and needed to let it out. He was still startled by the hug, never liking the fact when he was touched without being asked. He just sighed and gently wrapped his arms around her.
“The Host assures Jasmine that she is fine. If she would like, the Host wouldn’t mind helping her. Especially considering manners, and being respectful. The Host isn’t too good at physical affection, though he might be willing to try.”.
