Enyo had been accused to hell and back when Markus went missing. No one saw how it tore him apart. It was his fault. He was one of the last to see him but he had retreated to the library to fetch a book or two to read while the sun set like he did so often. Markus had expressed his distant at being unable to read more than once so the Mage had made it one of his duties to read to him. If only e hadn’t suggested it when they were sat in the gardens. Then Markus would still be here.
Enyos eyes burned vibrant purple as he walked the halls, purple flames licking his skin. He had been told to report to Markus’ advisors whenever he wanted to do anything as the blame was place heavy on him. “I’m finding your King as you have clearly failed over the last few days. Deal with me once i return him without a scratch.” He said simply and quickly left the castle.
He was done with being accused. Of nothing being done. He was done waiting. He would take it Ito his own hands. He’d find Markus alone.
Markus didn’t know where he was. He had just been sitting in the garden, and then something had happened, and now he was somewhere else. He was scared, though. He had never expected something like this might happen, not while he was at the castle in the very least! He was terrified of getting killed.
His hands were bound tightly together, as were his ankles, and he was gagged. He felt the cold stone on which he had been laying for days now, with no one in the world caring. He hoped the castle was alright without him. He knew Enyo would probably be blamed, he had only been with them for a few months, and had been claimed a thief when he came to them. He hoped he was alright though, knowing no one would take kindly to the one responsible of him vanishing.
The person who had kidnapped Markus was making a deal with a royal from another kingdom. It wasn’t right next to Markus’, and they had come here via ship. And they planned to take Markus with them back to their kingdom, use him however they saw fit, and get his kingdom under their grip.
